Attending your first AEL Play Party can be both exciting and a little nerve-racking — and that’s perfectly normal. Our monthly play parties are designed to provide a safe, welcoming environment where members of the Albuquerque BDSM community can socialize, explore, and express themselves in a respectful, consent-focused space. Whether you’re new to kink or have years of experience, you’ll find that our community values communication, respect, and inclusion above all else.
Unlike our educational Power Munches, AEL Play Parties are hosted once each month in a private member’s home. Attendance is $10 per person or couple, helping offset the costs of hosting the event. Because these gatherings take place in a private residence, the address is shared only with registered attendees. We ask everyone to respect the host, the home, and the privacy of fellow guests.
Before attending your first play party, please take time to read, understand, and follow our Play Party Rules. These guidelines exist to help ensure every guest enjoys a safe, respectful, and welcoming experience. From consent and etiquette to privacy and house expectations, the rules are an important part of creating an environment where everyone can feel comfortable. One of the most important things to know is that there is never any expectation to participate in play. Many people attend simply to observe, socialize, ask questions, or become more comfortable within the community. If you do choose to participate, consent is always required, personal boundaries are respected, and everyone’s comfort and safety come first. New attendees are encouraged to take things at their own pace.
