Group Principles

AEL exists to be a safe and inclusive space for consenting adults to explore and learn about BDSM. As a diverse organization, a person of any sexuality, gender, adult age, economic status, and kink role is welcome to our events. Everyone present is entitled to full and complete tolerance, be it about race, creed, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, body size, or otherwise!

As part of being a safe space to explore BDSM, this means attendees are entitled to privacy and safety from outing.

Alternative Erotic Lifestyles (AEL)

For the past 35 years, Alternative Erotic Lifestyles has prided itself on offering quality BDSM experiences via monthly play parties and educational munches in the Albuquerque Metropolitan Area of New Mexico. We welcome people of every race, creed, ethnicity, sexuality, and gender, and we look forward to seeing you at one of our future events.
 
We make BDSM accessible. A common complaint about BDSM is how expensive being in the lifestyle can be; however, AEL believes that the kink community should be open to as many people as possible, regardless of economics. Led and attended by kinksters with decades of experience and diverse knowledge, we strive to provide venues where people can learn and connect with one another. 
 
AEL is not a pro-dom service, nor do we permit solicitation at our events.
